Enless wireless sensors
The archived product article introduced battery-powered wireless sensing for building and industrial monitoring.
Potential benefits
Wireless deployment can reduce wiring work and simplify installation in existing premises, while sensors may be moved when requirements change.
Engineering checks
Battery life, radio coverage, gateway compatibility, installation environment and data reliability must be evaluated for the actual project.

Benefits and trade-offs of wireless sensors
The original 2023 announcement introduced Enless wireless sensing for building and environmental monitoring. Avoiding new cables can simplify installation and make sensor positions more flexible, particularly in existing premises. Battery-powered operation also creates maintenance tasks, and realistic service life depends on reporting interval, temperature and radio conditions.
For suitable applications, see our LoRa wireless solutions page. Communication reliability and data security must be evaluated for each installation.
