Desigo PXC controllers are used for control of selected HVAC and technical systems. Controller variants and I/O expansions are selected for the project.
Supported PXC solutions can communicate with BACnet-based building management systems, helping integrate controller points into a central overview.
Proper engineering, documentation and commissioning are key to reliable operation and predictable maintenance.
Desigo PXC controllers provide a programmable automation layer for HVAC and other compatible building systems. Different hardware models and expansion modules address different point counts, mounting arrangements and system architectures.
Controller engineering includes I/O mapping, functional logic, trends, alarm rules and communication objects. Many Desigo solutions support BACnet integration; availability of BACnet/SC, particular engineering tools and remote access functions varies by controller generation and installed software. Confirm the exact product requirements with the manufacturer before designing security or interoperability around these functions.
Before upgrading an existing plant, prepare an inventory of controllers, I/O modules, applications and field devices. Assess the required downtime and test the replacement logic before handover. Retain operational records so the owner can support and extend the system over time.
