BioEnergyUnit – research and development project
In 2018 FENIKS PRO participated in a successful application to the Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development and Technology's research and development programme, with the project Development of a Mobile Self-Sufficient Bioenergy Heating Unit – BioEnergyUnit.
Project concept
The development concept was a mobile heating unit designed as an integrated system. Its proposed features included remote monitoring and operation, energy-consumption information, smart-technology integration and operation independent of the conventional electricity grid.
Consortium and period
The archived project announcement identifies FENIKS PRO d.o.o., Valtis ogrevanje d.o.o. and Drugi Vid d.o.o. as consortium participants. The stated project period was 6 December 2018 to 5 December 2020.
Funding and historical status
The project was co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
