Heating substation automation with Desigo PXC5
Integrated control of heating circuits and domestic hot water, local visualisation, alarm history and documented thermal disinfection cycles.

One consistent view of the heating system
The system brings controls, measurements and operational records together for building operators.
Clear graphical operation
A synoptic diagram provides an overview of boilers, pumps, valves, heating circuits, storage tanks, temperatures and alarms. Authorised users can adjust setpoints and schedules.
Demand-oriented heating
Control logic can use external temperature, required operating modes, schedules and measured conditions to adapt boiler operation, pumps and control valves.
Domestic hot water and thermal disinfection
Defined disinfection cycles can be scheduled and recorded. Temperatures, duration, cycle outcomes and alarms can support operational records and inspections.
Trends, alarms and history
The operator can inspect historical temperature trends and selected operating values, review relevant events and recognise anomalies earlier.
Local and web access
A 7-inch touch panel provides on-site operation; authorised browser access is possible through a properly configured network.
Engineering and integration
The implementation can include field sensors, control panel, wiring, programming, graphics, commissioning, documentation and BACnet/IP integration.

Illustrations show available user-interface approaches; the final graphic layout depends on the actual installation.
Example Siemens system components
The exact controller model, I/O expansion and field equipment depend on the approved design and I/O list.
A practical control system for heating and hot water
We design the required control points, operating sequences and visualisations for each installation.
